What is Global Confluence Review (GCR)?

Global Confluence Review (GCR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary journal (ISSN 3139-6690). It is published online quarterly by Bliss Global, New Delhi, India, and began publishing in 2026.

GCR publishes original research, reviews, essays and other scholarly work across the social sciences, humanities, STEM and interdisciplinary fields.

Can high school students publish research in GCR?

Yes. GCR is open to high school students, undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctoral scholars, educators, independent researchers and professionals. High-school research papers are one of the accepted article types, and a high-school research paper template is available.

Student work goes through the same editorial screening, peer review and ethics standards as every other submission, and acceptance is not guaranteed.

Is GCR a good place for high school and early-career researchers to publish?

Welcoming high school students, undergraduates and early-career researchers is a defining part of GCR. Young researchers can submit their own original work, use GCR templates and resources, and receive feedback through the same peer review that applies to every manuscript.

Publication in GCR shows that a manuscript has passed GCR's editorial screening and peer review. It is not a ranking, an award or a guarantee of academic prestige, and readers and institutions will judge each paper on its own merits.

Is GCR a peer-reviewed journal?

Yes. GCR uses double-blind peer review: authors do not know the reviewers’ identities, and reviewers are not told the authors’ names or affiliations.

Each manuscript is first screened by the editorial office for scope, formatting and ethics. Suitable manuscripts are then sent to at least two independent experts, and the handling editor decides on acceptance, revision or rejection.

The editorial office keeps a record of reviewer reports, editorial decisions and correspondence for every manuscript.

Is GCR open access?

Yes. All published articles are free to read and download, with no subscription or login. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), and authors keep the copyright of their work.
